Comfort Cravings was inspired by the women who shaped my love of baking — my grandmother (my Gertie) and my mom, lovingly known as Gammy Jeanne.

Holiday mornings were always something special in our home. From Christmas mornings made magical, to watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade while preparing dinner, to Easter baskets hidden the night before and discovered with excitement the next day — the kitchen was always the heart of it all.

My grandmother’s rolling pin still sits in my kitchen today, a reminder of the recipes and traditions passed down through generations.

Those moments — the laughter, the anticipation, the love poured into every detail — are the heart of Comfort Cravings.
